Griffin Survivor Slim Rugged iPad Tablet Case

Griffin Survivor Slim Rugged iPad Tablet Case appeared first on DiscountCell Reviews.

The Griffin Survivor Slim is the latest addition to the Griffin Survivor line.  The original Survivor was very popular as a military grade case and came in a variety of colors.  The thickness of the original Survivor was a negative to some customers and would not fit in many charging carts.  The Survivor slim solves many of these concerns while still providing military grade drop protection.

The Griffin Survivor Slim solves many of the education related challenges of the original Survivor with its slim design.

Protection
The Survivor Slim is a full protection case including a built in screen protector.  The case is slim but rated for drops up to 6 feet.  The multi layer case is built with a hard outer shell that protects from hands, books, keys, lunches and anything else a student may have in their hand or backpack.  The inner core provides solid drop protection when the inevitable drop happens.  Overall, the case should provide adequate protection for the tablet.

Stand
The Griffin Survivor Slim has a built in stand that pops out for use and folds back in for storage.  The stand is easy to use and does a good job of holding the tablet in viewing or typing mode.  With the stand being the full width of the case, it provides a solid footing for tablet use.

Accessory Compatibility
The Griffin Survivor fits in most popular charging stands and the port is large enough to work with non-oem cables.  The charging port opening is also large enough to handle most wired keyboard connectors currently on the market.  The case fits well into the Belkin Secure Wired Keyboard with built in stand and other similar accessories.

Convenience
Overall, the Survivor Slim is a great new case from a company that has a lot of experience designing military grade cases.  One issue that may be a positive for schools but a major complaint from many users is the difficulty in removing the case from the tablet.  The most common experience when trying to remove the case is a fear the tablet will be damaged in the process.  This can be an added concern as asset tags connected to the back of a device will require removal of the case for access.
